Krystina is the Office Manager of iKids Pediatric Dentistry in Burleson, TX. A native of Louisiana, she moved to Fort Worth at a young age and has lived in the Metroplex ever since. She has always considered herself a social butterfly and received her degree in Communications from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2009. She understands how a beautiful smile impacts children’s confidence which translates into adulthood. “I completely admire everything iKids stands for and I am so proud to be part of a team that is so invested in enhancing the lives of children,” says Krystina. While not at work, Krystina enjoys vacationing and spending quality time with her loving husband and young son.
Karla Holguin is 20 years old and a native Texan. She likes to watch movies and spend time with her family. Karla’s favorite colors are purple and pink. She likes to shop and get her nails done. Her dream is to someday travel to Paris. Karla has a dog named tiny and loves him like as if it were her son.
Melanie has over 13 years of customer service experience. She attended Tarrant County Community College and is continuing her education in Psychology. Melanie has 3 children Jacob, Samantha and Salma, she also has 3 beautiful grandchildren ranging from 1-3 years of age. During Melanie’s spare time she attends church and spends time with her family and friends.
Dawn was born and raised in Burleson, Texas. A loving wife and mother of 2, Dawn began her journey in dentistry in 2010 when she graduated from Tarrant County College as a Registered Dental Hygienist. “I chose pediatric dental hygiene bc it allows me to connect with the kiddos while teaching them how to take better care of themselves in a fun way!” Dawn joined iKids in October 2013.
Whitney obtained her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2008, and after her first day at a pediatric office she knew it was where she was meant to be. She loves the upbeat environment, helping kids to be excited about coming to the dentist like she was as a child, and having an impact on their overall health through dental hygiene instruction. Whitney obtained a Bachelor of Arts from UTA in Human Relations and a minor in Spanish, and fulfilled her dream of studying abroad in Spain. She is a lung cancer awareness advocate and a volunteer for the Mission Arlington dental clinic. Whitney enjoys family time, movies, cooking and camping with her husband.
Charie Vaughn is from Arlington, Texas and has been in the dental field since 1999. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. She then earned her Dental Hygiene license from Tarrant County College. Charie loves children and volunteers for community events whenever she can. She is actively a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Greater Fort Worth Dental Hygienists’ Society. Charie loves spending time with her husband, Chad, and their energetic Jack Russell, Ace. Her hobbies include reading, working out, spending time with friends and cheering on the Dallas Mavericks.
Heather King was born and raised in Midlothian, Texas. She pursued her Dental Hygiene Career at Baylor College of Dentistry, Caruth School of Dental Hygiene. She loves making the dental experience enjoyable for all of her patients by incorporating a fun, educational, and friendly energy into the appointments. Pediatric dentistry is special to her because her goal is to start early in the patient’s life, teaching them how to properly care for their teeth. Heather also wants to help eliminate the assumption that the dentist is a scary place. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as reading, watching movies, and listening to music.
Amanda, a native Texan , is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University where she met her husband and began her family. From there she went on to attain a degree in dental hygiene. She has served as a pediatric hygienist since 2011. Amanda has always enjoyed helping others and is happy to educate the children in our community about oral health. As a parent of two wonderful children, Amanda can relate to her patients and loves to make a personal connection with them. Amanda strives to serve God in all she does, likes to play with her children, attempts to garden and loves to learn.

Alicia Alexander was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Arlington, Texas when she was 5 years old and considers herself a “true” Texan. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry. She loves children and enjoys working in an atmosphere where children make her laugh and smile all day. Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband, Kameron, and her two sons, Jeffrey and Logan. Alicia’s boys are very active in sports, where their family spends most of their time.
Priscilla Jo Herrera was born and raised in Beeville, Texas. She is a graduate of Del Mar College in Corpus Christi , Texas where she obtained her degree for dental hygiene. She started her career in General Dentistry in Ingleside, Texas . In August 2014 she moved to Grand Prairie, Texas and says it was the best decision she made. Since starting at iKids she has grown an even bigger passion for her career. ” Love what you do and you never have to work a day in your life” .”This is the way iKids makes me feel” , she says. She loves educating all her little patients on the importance of their oral health and doing her best to give her patients the best dental experience. Priscilla loves spending time with her boyfriend Steven, their silly, loving dog “Sancho” , her family and friends. Priscilla’s hobbies include: couponing and shopping.
Amanda was born and raised in TX. She has been a dental assistant since 2007 and absolutely loves her career. Amanda is the mom of four beautiful daughters, including a set of twin girls. When Amanda isn’t working she is somewhere near a soccer or softball field and/or a basketball court cheering her girls on from the side lines. In her down time, when she is not at work or sports events for her kiddos Amanda likes to kickback and hangout with her family and friends.
Lorelie was born in Arlington, TX. She grew up in Alvarado, TX where she graduated high school. She then attended dental assisting school at Concorde and received her certification as a registered dental assistant in 2009. Nothing means more to her than delivering excellent care. Lorelie enjoys helping children achieve smile makeovers in a caring, family setting and seeing the positive change it makes in their lives. She says “ I adore working along-side such great doctors, and a happy patient is a reward all in its own.” On Lorelie’s free time she spends it with her husband and 3 daughters.
